In this course, you will learn the basics of PIC18F4620 microcontroller, as well as its internal architecture. Many input/output functionalities and peripherals will be introduced. Memory and special function registers (SFR), timers, interrupts, capture, compare , PWM, and some communication protocols will also be explained. To write assembly code we need to study the instruction set of this microcontroller's family. Moreover, we will explore PIC32 family of microcontrollers and how they compare to the PIC18 family.
