Course Description:

This course provides students with direct hands-on experience in clinical settings under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Students will apply theoretical knowledge to patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions. The course emphasizes professional communication, ethical and legal responsibilities, and critical clinical reasoning skills.

Course Aim:

To prepare students to become competent and professional physical therapists capable of integrating academic knowledge with clinical practice, demonstrating effective patient care, clinical reasoning, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.


Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessments.

  2. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

  3. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members professionally.

  4. Apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning in decision-making.

  5. Collaborate within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  6. Reflect on clinical experiences to enhance professional growth.
