This Course examines selected topics on establishment of animal farms, farm animal breeding systems, poultry (Broilers and Layers), Beef and Dairy Cattle, Sheep and Goats, record-keeping, agricultural produce marketing.
Course Objectives:
The aim of this course is the students study many topics as:-
Cattle farm management
Sheep and goats management
Poultry (Broilers and Layer) management.
Marketing of animals products.
Course Goals:
At the end of this course students should be able to:
Understand the establishment of the animal farms.
Illustrate the animal breeding systems.
Control the animal farms about milking, feeding and technical procedures as foot care, identification, castration.
Know the reproductive systems and understand the factors affecting reproductively and gain skills about uses the vaginal sponges in sheep.
Demonstrate the environment and related disease and know how to use the methods of disinfections of animals and birds buildings
Explain the types of records and how to manage it in the farms.
Demonstrate the marketing of animal and poultry products.
