Course Project Description: CBL

Student teams will work on completing the development of an authentic web project to address our community needs. To complete project, each team will go through the full web development life cycle (web analysis, design and development) stages. course tutor with the help of community partner will help in giving the business case, requirements and specification to students and discuss design and development issues with them.

Table 1 shows main stages of project development life cycle for each group

Road Map Document: Defining Web Application, Purpose, Goals and Direction

Milestone 1

Researching and Defining Audience Scope and Security Documents

Stage 2

Creating Functional specifications or feature summary document

Application Visual Guide, Design layout, Interface Design, Wire framing

These milestones will be coordinated with course lectures, so that material in the lectures will directly relate to project requirements.

Teams will meet regularly with  their clients to get feedback on prototype systems and refine the requirements for the system. Each group will give final presentation on week 15 of the semester. Teacher and community partner will participate in project evaluation and give the final marks.
