This course provides an in-depth study of the structure and function of the human eye. It covers the anatomy of key ocular components, including the extraocular muscles, conjunctiva, cornea, iris, lens, ciliary body, vitreous body, and lacrimal apparatus. Students will learn about the production and drainage of aqueous humor and its role in regulating intraocular pressure. The course emphasizes a clinically oriented, integrated approach, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Key biochemical aspects relevant to ocular physiology are also highlighted.
