    Org. environment is the sum total of all external and internal factors that influence a business. You should keep in mind that external factors and internal factors can influence each other and work together to affect a business.

    The organizational environment is the set of forces surrounding the organization that have a potential affect on the way it operates and its access to scarce resources; Therefore, org. performance is directly affected by the degree org. can cope with its specific environment.   

    It starts on the individual level. If people are thriving in their jobs, their contribution to overall success increases. It is the same for teams: motivated team results in higher performance and increased innovation. But it is the organizational environment that allows both individuals and teams to thrive.
