First, I would like to welcome you to the course of Scientific Research for the Fall Term – 2020/2021. Although the course will be taught remotely this semester, I hope you will find it useful and joyful at the same time.
Second, please, find below all the info you need to attend the lectures on Zoom. It is important to attend all online sessions to stay on the track and pass the course. Anyhow, we will talk today about the course outline briefly, the tools we will use for lectures, possible evaluation criteria, best practices on e-learning, etc.

MSC Scientific Research - Activity 1
Download 6 up-to-date articles (3 reviews and 3 full research articles) in the following research fields:
Compile all papers in one single folder, compress it, and submit the zipped folder.
Those who use Endnote or any other Referencing software, please, list your papers/articles in MS Office Word document (in any style you prefer) and submit it alongside the folder.
The Deadline is on Friday, October 9th, 2020 at 10:00 pm.

MSC Scientific Research - Activity 3
You are assigned to summarize the paper attached below individually by answering the following questions and submit your answers in Microsoft Word file:
1. State the research question and explain why it is interesting.
2. State the hypotheses tested.
3. Briefly describe the methods (design, participants, materials, procedure, what was manipulated [independent variables], what was measured [dependent variables], how data were analyzed.
4. Describe the results. Were they significant?
5. Explain the key implications of the results. Avoid overstating the importance of the findings.
6. The results, and the interpretation of the results, should relate directly to the hypothesis.
Please note the following:
· The submissions will be on Moodle ONLY.
· The deadline for submission is Sunday, 12/12/2020 at 10:00 pm. If you do not submit this assignment before the due date, you will FAIL the course.
· Ensure to check out the similarity of your assignment. It must be less than 40%. Otherwise, you will FAIL the course.
