This course introduces unit conversion, chemical engineering measurements, and the synthesis of chemical processes. It covers principles and techniques for calculating material and energy balances (mainly material) in both single and multiple-stage processes. Topics include the analysis of chemical processes and chemical reactions. The course also explores the behavior of ideal and real gases.
